Landmark is the CLG Government database which has been formed to hold all air conditioning reports and the new legilation makes mandatory TM44 air conditioning assessments a must to be lodged on Landmark. This means to the building owner that the Government will be able to see immidiately if a building has the required air conditioning assessment that should have been in place from January 2011 providing the building or space has capacity greater than 12kw.

Mandatory lodgements for TM44 is the first step in toughening up of the regulations in preparation for large scale policing of non-compliance. Each lodgement costs in the reagon of £30 with clients placing orders from June likely to fall into the lodgement trap.
